Weekend Analoog afdrukken

Schiet jij graag met een analoge camera? Leer in één weekend de basis van het maken van een analoge afdruk in de doka.

Op zaterdag en zondag van 10.00-16.00 werk je in de doka op Durst vergroters, geschikt voor kleinbeeld en middenformaat.

Wat leer je in de weekendcursus Analoog afdrukken?

Op de 2 dagen leer je chemie aanmaken, de werking van doka, vergroter, chemie en fotopapier. Je maakt van je eigen zwart/wit negatieven een contactafdruk, en editing van je negatieven wordt met de docent gedaan. Verder leer je een goede analoge afdruk maken en alles wat daarbij komt kijken, van invloed van filters op het contrast in de afdruk tot het doordrukken en tegenhouden. Het ambacht van een zwart/wit foto afdrukken staat centraal tijdens dit weekend.

Wat heb je voor de weekendcursus Analoog afdrukken nodig?

Neem je ontwikkelde negatieven mee, hiermee maak je in de doka een eigen afdruk. Aangeraden wordt om je eigen fotopapier mee te nemen (Ilford Multigrade PE-papier maximaal op 24×30 cm formaat).

Chemie voor afdrukken en Ilford filters zijn aanwezig bij MK24.

Om verspreiding van het coronavirus tegen te gaan is het dragen van een mondkapje in de doka verplicht.

A Weekend Course in Analog Printing

The craft of black and white photo printing is the focus of this two-day course (Saturday and Sunday 10:00-16:00) on the basics of analog printing in the darkroom, using Durst enlargers suitable for both 35mm and medium format film negatives.

What You Will Learn

Over the two days in class, you will learn all the essentials of darkroom printing, from chemicals and photo paper to using the enlarger. You’ll make a contact sheet from your own black and white negatives, and editing of your images will be done with the teacher. You will learn all aspects of making a good analog print, including the use of filters to influence the contrast in the image, as well as dodging and burning.

What Do You Need for this Course?

You’ll need to bring a set of developed negatives to class. We advise you to bring your own photo paper (Ilford Multigrade PE paper with a maximum size of 24×30 cm).Chemicals for printing and Ilford filters are available at MK24.
